Following a sold-out UK tour, Factory Floor return to Phantasy with a new single, ‘Tell Me’.

As propulsive and direct as anything the cult UK electronic group has ever released, ‘Tell Me’ continues to perfect the dynamic in the band’s current lineup of Gabe Gurnsey, Nik Colk Void, and Joe Ward, with additional drum tracking by Stephen Morris of New Order.

Situated between the sonic promise of enduring indie culture, yet naturally imbued with the band’s relentless forward-thinking ethos.

Throughout, Colk Void’s inquisitive vocal guides the listener through an elastic square-wave bass groove that forms the rhythmic backbone to ‘Tell Me’, before Gurnsey and Ward's frenetic drumming breakdown rains with pure abandon, exemplifying the band’s personal alchemy between genre, scenes, human, and machine.

These tracks are, at present, for promotional only release purposes. There are 500 vinyl 12"s and these digital copies. No full release is scheduled.

This latest release from Foundation Music sees the best tracks, and the unreleased ones, from the recent Lady Blackbird album 'Slang Spirituals' get the remix treatment from one of the countries finest producers - Crooked Man.

'Allbarone' producer Paul Epworth takes a journey right through the middle of 'Return of the Sharp Heads' and delivers a classic 12" extended remix that adds a whole load of echoing dub to create a relentless dance floor groove made up of madly addictive bassline and a gloriously languid disco rhythm track. By the time Baxter's voice comes in, this beauty has really reached sharp headed heaven.

Phantasy are delighted to introduce Greek duo Boys' Shorts for their debut EP on the label, ‘Athena’. The project of music obsessives Vangelis and Tareq, the Boys’ Shorts sound has helped redefine timeless strains of disco, house and Italo for Europe’s queer club underground, with similar charisma spilling into their collaborative productions on labels including Live at Robert Johnson, Permanent Vacation and Polari.

A UK summer anthem in 1982, ’Walking on Sunshine’ by Rockers Revenge (written by Eddy Grant) became an instant classic — blending soulful vocals from Donnie Calvin with New York’s underground club energy, shaped by legends Arthur Baker, Jellybean Benitez, and Bob Blank.

Originally selling 50,000 copies in its first UK week, the track earned cult status — championed over the decades by DJs like Louie Vega, Dimitri from Paris, and Groove Armada.

Now it’s back — reimagined by Yard Act, Leeds’ genre-defying favorites. Introduced to the track by Remi Kabaka of Gorillaz during production on their second album, Yard Act not only remixes the classic but James Smith from the band also contributes fresh vocals to this bold new version. On the B-side, a never-before-heard 1988 house remix by Junior Vasquez finally sees the light of day.

With Rockers Revenge still active and a feature documentary set for release in late 2025, this timeless track is ready to shine once again.
